Our Journey Since 2011
Established in 2011, Intercept Security was founded with a vision to provide top-tier security services while fostering community relationships. Over the years, we’ve grown and adapted to the evolving needs of our clients, all while maintaining our core values of integrity, professionalism, and community focus.
Commitment to Community
Being a community resource means more than providing security; it involves active participation in community development and empowerment. We have engaged in various initiatives aimed at uplifting our community, including:
• Employment Opportunities: Creating jobs and offering career advancement for local residents, contributing to economic growth and stability.
• Educational Outreach: Providing training programs and workshops to educate individuals on safety, security, and personal well-being.
• Supporting Local Events: Offering our services to ensure the safety and success of community gatherings and events.
Celebrating Black Excellence
Black History Month is a time to honor the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history. At Intercept Security, we celebrate the legacy of Black entrepreneurship and the progress made in the business landscape. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, the number of Black-owned businesses increased by 60.5% between 2002 and 2007, reaching 1.9 million . This growth reflects the resilience and determination of Black entrepreneurs in overcoming systemic challenges.
Looking Ahead
As we continue our journey, we remain dedicated to:
• Enhancing Our Services: Continuously improving and expanding our security solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Community Engagement: Deepening our involvement in community initiatives that promote safety, education, and economic empowerment.
• Promoting Diversity: Advocating for inclusivity within the security industry and supporting the growth of minority-owned businesses.
Conclusion
Intercept Security’s success is a testament to the strength and potential of Black-owned businesses. As we celebrate Black History Month, we honor the past, embrace the present, and look forward to a future filled with continued growth and community impact.
